1.4 Member Portal and Profile Information
We may collect information you provide through the Member Portal, including:

Some information you choose to include in your profile, posts, comments, leaderboards, or community activity may be visible to other Capitalist Club members.
1.5 CapRating, Match, and Competition Information

- wins and losses;
- ratings;
- rating changes;
- handicap information;
- leaderboard positions;
- match history;
- tournament results;
- predictions;
- achievements;
- milestones;
- disciplinary or correction records; and

This information may be submitted by you, another participant, Capitalist Club staff, an authorized administrator, or an approved system integration.
1.6 Event and Facility Information

4. AUTOMATED MEMBERSHIP AND ENTITLEMENT PROCESSING
Capitalist Club may use automated systems to synchronize billing and membership information.
For example, verified information from a payment processor may automatically:
- activate paid membership benefits;
- update subscription status;
- apply a grace period;
- record a scheduled cancellation;
- revoke a paid entitlement at the end of service; or
- determine the effective membership displayed in the Member Portal.
These systems administer contractual membership access and are not intended to make decisions concerning employment, lending, housing, insurance, healthcare, or another similarly significant legal or financial matter.
Capitalist Club staff may review and correct automated membership records when necessary.
5. SMS MESSAGING
5.1 Consent
When you affirmatively opt in to receive SMS messages, you consent to receive messages from Capitalist Club at the telephone number provided.
Consent to marketing SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing a membership, product, service, or event admission unless expressly permitted by law.

- prevent fraud;

Capitalist Club is responsible for its own privacy practices, but it does not control all independent processing performed by third parties.
Shopify advises that merchants frequently use additional services such as apps, payment gateways, and sales channels and that merchants remain responsible for evaluating those services.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
- provide services;
- maintain membership and transaction records;
- preserve CapRating and match history;
- support account security;
- resolve disputes;
- enforce agreements;
- maintain audit records;
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, payment, and regulatory obligations; and
- protect against fraud.
Retention periods vary depending on the type of information and the reason it was collected.
For example:
- account and membership information may be retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward;
- transaction records may be retained as required for accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, and legal purposes;
- webhook and audit records may be retained to protect billing integrity;
- match and leaderboard history may be retained as an ongoing historical record;
- marketing consent records may be retained to demonstrate consent and honor opt-outs; and
- security logs may be retained for a limited period based on operational need.
We may retain anonymized or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you.
Payment providers may retain transaction information independently to satisfy financial and regulatory requirements. Stripe notes that payment-service providers may be legally required to retain certain transaction records.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information.
These measures may include:

14. NONDISCRIMINATION
We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
This means we will not unlawfully:
- deny goods or services;
- charge a different price;
- provide a different level of service; or
- retaliate against you
because you submitted a valid privacy request.
This does not prevent us from offering a legally permitted loyalty, membership, promotional, or financial-incentive program whose terms are separately disclosed.
15. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Capitalist Club’s general membership and account services are intended for adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without legally required parental consent.
Minors may attend certain approved events or activities with a parent, guardian, or authorized adult.
In those circumstances, we may collect limited information reasonably necessary for:
