My (Current) Vision for The Capitalist Club

When I first set out to create The Capitalist Club, my plan was a private membership lounge built around connection, conversation, community and a competitive game of poker once in a while. I didn’t originally intend for it to include coworking or shared workspace elements.

But as with most startups, the path wasn’t linear. After months of searching for the right location and running into rejections or restrictions, I realized I needed to adapt. That’s when the concept evolved into something that not only opened more doors but also aligned even more closely with what my community actually wanted — a place where professionals could work and unwind.

This pivot toward a coworking lounge model made sense. It fit the needs of the network that inspired the idea from the beginning — a group of driven business owners and entrepreneurial poker players who value productivity, flexibility, and meaningful connection.

With a refined vision and a solid business model, I secured our first location strategically next to the John Wayne Airport. From there, the pieces began to fall into place. After months of planning, building, and refining, The Capitalist Club officially opened its doors and came to life.

Today, my focus is on growing our membership base, expanding our office rentals, and setting the stage for two to three additional locations throughout Orange County. Orange County has such a strong core of entrepreneurs and I feel as more AI get driven down our throats that we will look to have more genuine human connection and I look to help harbor that with the Capitalist Club

Due to the ever-evolving business landscape and the needs of the members I am aware that the vision of the company may change again and perhaps again down the road and I look forward to the challenges they bring. (as long as they don’t break the bank)

Cheers, Semper Fi
